Recorded over three evenings at a private studio overlooking Sagami Bay, this session captures the unhurried magic of the Hayama coastline as daylight dissolves into gold. Kenji Matsumoto's piano drifts between Brazilian bossa patterns and post-bop harmony, while bassist Ryo Ishida and drummer Tomoko Arai provide a bed so light it seems to float on the tide. The title piece, "Coastal Dusk," opens with a single piano chord left to decay in the sea breeze before the trio breathes it back to life. A session for golden-hour listening.
